Happy Monday friends! I hope your day has been full of good coffee and productivity. Mine has included a whole lot of the former and a lot less of the latter. BUT, you know what they say; you win some, you lose some, and Monday’s generally just don’t count… or something like that.
I always find it particularly frustrating trying to get back into a routine after a week full of traveling and things much more enticing than inbox clearing. However, today I’m kicking the new week blues by putting on a cute dress and just plain dealing with it. Let me tell you, nothing quite lights a fire under me like putting on an outfit that simply can’t be wasted on a mediocre day. Feel like putting on yoga pants and a hoodie? Don’t. Grab a dress, grab a blazer, hell, grab a pair of heels if you have to.
Desperate times call for desperate measures.
ASOS has always been a go-to for me for the best essentials for my work week and they have such a good collection of day dresses right now that I can’t go without mentioning it.
