Goooood morning friends of the internet! We are t-minus 6 days from Christmas and surprisingly enough I think I had the most productive day of my entire life yesterday. Today is off to a similarly shiny start but don’t pat me too virtually hard on the back. We haven’t had much of a choice since we returned from NYC in the wee hours of Sunday night/Monday morning and we leave for home for the holidays tomorrow. I know most people loathe the go-go-go atmosphere that descends on everyone and everything this time of year but I actually love it. If you see a madwoman sitting at a stoplight with her car packed to the brim with clothes and packages, screaming some Brenda Lee Christmas tune, don’t be afraid to say hi! I love making new friends.
Because we’ve already established that Christmas is LITERALLY right around the corner, I assume you need no further explanation for why I’m putting my ASOS roundup up early this month. The holidays are the best time to put your phone down and spend time with your loved ones, even if all you’re doing is answering questions about when you’re having babies (*nervous laughing*).
BUT, for the time being while we’ve all still got our noses glued to our phones, let’s talk about these holiday looks! I made a point to try and put together things that could be worn for Christmas parties OR New Year’s (2019! How???) since the mail system is running about as smoothly as Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory right now. If you’ve seen my Instagram, you know I’ve basically boycotted all clothes that aren’t deep red, emerald green, or black (duh) and I’m not one bit mad about it. I have a particular problem, and by problem I mean “outrageous collection” of green faux fur this year. This jacket is absolutely GORGEOUS in person and I love the way it looks with this faux leather shift dress. These heels are going to see many a dance floor these next few weeks and if you catch me even at 8 AM in the Starbucks drive thru without these stunning danglers in my ears, you might want to make sure I’m feeling okay.
Secondly, you all were obsessed with this midi dress that I posted and it’s only $45 and still in good stock! It’s perfect for the rest of the winter season, not just the holidays so don’t walk, RUN. Lastly, if you’re still in the marked for a cute bag that’s a little bit dressier, look no further. You know I’ve always got your back.
Have an incredible holiday weekend with your loved ones. I’m so so grateful for all of you. Merry Christmas, you filthy animals.
xx
