Well you guys, it’s safe to say that I was sort of shocked to log into my corner of the internet and find that I haven’t written a post since last month. Then it occurred to me just how crazy and busy November 2018 truly has been. With the holidays kicking into high gear, this is the busiest time of year for influencers and on top of that, sometimes God hits you with something hard that simultaneously knocks your world off kilter and puts your priorities back in order. If I could describe this whole month in one sentence, well, you just read it.
All I have to say is that I’m very thankful, to both brands and my little community on Instagram, that stick with me on weeks where work and posting takes the back seat. I know I didn’t hit on Black Friday or Cyber Monday (read: the craziest weekend of the year for bloggers) at all but I WAS able to take some very necessary time off with my husband and family and I wouldn’t trade that for anything. I am also thankful that I’m getting the chance to sit down and write a post for you guys today. I’ve got my monthly ASOS roundup coming at ya and I’ve linked all kinds of good things for you guys to shop! Let’s jump right into it shall we?
First off, let’s have a serious chat about this teddy coat. I jokingly called this bad boy the “teddy coat to end all teddy coats” on my stories but let’s be real, I wasn’t actually joking at all. This thing is cozy, oversized, and basically everything I’ve ever dreamed of in a coat. Naturally, it’s sort of low in stock but the good news is that ASOS is ON TOP of the teddy jacket game this winter so I’ve linked a ton of different options that you guys can look through. Secondly, as you well know seeing as I haven’t stopped talking about it, this striped sweater is my favorite of all time. As Forest would say, that’s all I’ve got to say about that. Sadly, these boots that I have been wearing nonstop are sold out BUT they are fully stocked in black so don’t walk, RUN. They are a DREAM for winter.
One other thing I wanted to highlight is the ASOS DESIGN x LAQUAN SMITH collection that I’m sure you’ve seen circulating Instagram. The whole collection is incredible so be sure to check it out but I’m particularly obsessed with this studded bomber I posted about. It’s the perfect outfit finisher for the “likes to party but isn’t into holiday glam” type of girl, AKA me. I just noticed that it is marked down right now too! Just keep running.
