Hello again internet friends! Man oh man, have we just been crankin’ out the blog posts over here recently or what? I have to say I’m into it, even in this age of “click and ditch” as I like to call it, because my love for writing is a huge part of what got my started here and sometimes caption space just doesn’t cut it, yanowhatimsayin?
What makes writing and sharing even more exciting is when it’s for a brand that you’ve come to know and love.
RAISE THE CURTAIN! BRING MY HUSH FAM TO THE STAGE!
I’m working on a really fun series of posts with Hush right now and I cannot wait to share everything with you guys as we go along! The first in the line-up is a little highlight that they’ve aptly named “cosmic encounters”. Now, I’m going to be straight with you guys here (because I like to roll like that), if you would’ve asked me 2 months ago to wear something “galaxy inspired”, the first come-to-mind would have been blue and purple watercolored leggings with actual stars on them (like, the Solar System kind). HOWEVER, I have seen this trend circulating the internet recently and now I see the vision. Star prints (the 5-pointed clipart kind), planet sketches, constellations, a little bit of shimmer and shine… and let me tell you, Hush has hit the nail on the head.
The thing I love most about these pieces I’m featuring is that they are totally wearable, something Hush has always done so well. This star print sweater is one you will see me in probably too much this fall and my obsession for this button up dress has reached an unhealthy level. It reminded me of something similar Aimee Song sported on Instagram earlier this month and I knew I had to have it. And can we talk, wait no, scream, about these under the knee boots. They’re speaking my love language and I’m here for it.
