KOR-DOO-ROY. Why is it so damn difficult for me to spell that word? Not that it isn’t spelled exactly how it sounds, it’s just that every time I type it out, I end up deleting it and repeating it phonetically to myself 4 times. Man, you win some, you lose some.
Speaking of winning, I am currently perched street side, sipping on a hot cup of writers block anecdote (read: latte) from my favorite coffee spot watching the sun go down all. by. myself. Not to sound like a 5 year old who just mastered a loose bunny ear shoe tie for the first time, but I love doing things by myself. Not because I’m trying to be a #independentwoman or whatever- I just genuinely enjoy spending time alone. It makes me happy. I blame it on growing up as an only child, but I don’t think it’s a bad thing at all. And guess what else, it’s November freaking 7th. Did you catch that I’m sitting outdoors? Excuse me, Chicago? Could I borrow your W because I think I’m flying it right now.
This is where I attempt to smoothly transition into blog talk since nothing that I have said thus far is remotely related to the content for today… other than me trying to spell corduroy… C’mon, Chan, smooooooth.
I have been wanting a pair of corduroy pants since the first time the temps dropped below 80 this year and I am so happy to have finally gotten my hands on some. This burnt shade flare pair (phoning Dr. Suess) is from Salty Pepper. I think the color is so fun and I’m really excited to see what else I can pair them with for the remainder of fall. For now, we go with black- to the surprise of no one- but definitely stay tuned for more on the gram. ALSO, how unsmooth was that transition, y’all?
Again, you win some, you lose some.
xx
